Here at South Park Elementary School, we recognize just how hard our students and staff work, and we want to celebrate just how our hard work comes together to create an amazing, inspiring and successful for our Broncs to thrive and grow in! At the end of each month, we have a Leader in Me assembly to acknowledge our diligent students that have been working hard as fantastic leaders with one another and through their studies since the beginning of this new school year – and we recognize that to help our students be the best leaders they can be in our school, that means to lead by example.
For our second Leader in Me assembly of the school year, we proudly recognize a teacher that has helped lead students in their self-growth journeys to be their best and favorite selves in an environment where they feel loved, inspired, and empowered in both their minds and hearts!
Congratulations to our wonderful Music teacher Lyndsey Haber for being nominated as Teacher of the Month for September 2024!

This nomination is something that the students themselves submit it, providing the teacher’s name of who they wish to potentially receive this award, along with providing their own reason why they believe that teacher should be recognized as the Teacher of the Month! Mrs. Haber not only received a trophy labeled with Belle Fourche Elementary Teacher of the Month, applause and enthusiastic cheers from staff and students at the assembly, but also a little something to remember her impact on the lives of her students and inspire her on her diligent and passionate teacher journey: A journal to keep with her that says the truest of words - You Make a Difference!
Here’s some of the awesome things that our students have said about Mrs. Haber, and why they nominated her:
“She is very kind and when people are sad, she understands. This teacher makes me want and love school!”
“In music, she gives good instruction and is so nice and sweet! She is the best!”
“She makes me happy!”
“She makes music fun!”
“She sings pretty.”
“She makes singing fun!”
“She is so helpful, and kind and she makes me feel welcomed.”
“Mrs. Haber is so nice, and she is always in a good mood.”
Thank you to all our staff for continuing to inspire our students to make them excited and welcomed into our loving, inspiring, hard-working Broncs family, and thank you to the students and families that work with us to ensure everyone is seen, empowered and nurtured to be their best selves, working together as a strong, inspiring community!
Way to go Mrs. Haber on acknowledgement of your efforts to inspire and bring joy to the children at South Park Elementary. Your passion for music education is evident in the enthusiasm and creativity you bring to your classroom. Your ability to make learning fun and engaging has undoubtedly had a positive impact on countless young lives!
